The Saturday Blitz Podcast returns this week with a breakdown of college football action in Week 10 before turning to look at a few key Week 11 games.

The 2019 college football season is now officially into November, with the final month of the regular season winding down before our very eyes. Before we know it, conference championship games will be upon us, then the postseason, and then another long offseason without the gridiron to keep us entertained.

For now, though, we still have plenty to talk about in terms of live results. Week 10 looked like something of a dud on paper, with so many highly ranked teams taking byes to begin November. As usual, though, there was plenty to keep fans of the game excited in those contests that did take place. The upset bug, after all, doesn’t take weekends off.

We are now down to zero undefeated teams at the Group of Five level. In the Power Five, a dwindling number of unbeaten programs was reduced to seven — and that number is guaranteed to fall to a point no higher than five teams once Week 11 is in the books, thanks to a pair of matchups between zero-loss teams on Saturday.

In this week’s edition of the Saturday Blitz Podcast, we examine some of the best wins, worst losses, and biggest surprises of Week 10 in our first segment along with acknowledging top offensive and defensive performances. The second segment, as usual, pivots toward the upcoming week as we examine five key games against the spread. After the final break, we return to provide our upsets and locks of the week against the spread along with some dining and drinking options in true Tailgater fashion.
