With a pair of undefeated vs. undefeated matchups on the docket, the Week 11 slate in college football is loaded with intriguing story lines.

Week 11 has been circled on the calendar of college football fans all season long with a litany of intriguing matchups, headlined by the much anticipated showdown between Alabama and LSU in Tuscaloosa on Saturday afternoon.

It’s felt like the Crimson Tide and Tigers have been on a collision course since LSU proved its legitimacy with a road win over Texas on the second weekend of the season. Both teams enter undefeated, ranked No. 2 and No. 3 respectively in the first rankings by the playoff committee of the 2019 season.

While the latest “Game of the Century” will dominate the headlines, there’s plenty of quality matchups to go around for a day full of quality football. While Alabama and LSU both being undefeated wasn’t unexpected, the other unbeaten vs. unbeaten matchup on the Saturday slate is quite the surprise relative to preseason expectations.

Penn State at 8-0 isn’t much of a surprise, but Minnesota is 8-0 for the first time since 1941, and its showdown with the Nittany Lions is among the biggest games in school history. The crowd should be raucous in Minneapolis, despite the noon kickoff potentially putting a damper on the crowd.

There’s several other games on the schedule that will have a big impact on the playoff race. Several of the lines this week feel a bit curious, making it tough to get a read on what will transpire. This week will either replicate last week’s 70 percent winners, or go in the opposite direction. I doubt there will be little in between.

Let’s take a look at the biggest games of Week 11 and offer up some predictions.

Last Week: 7-3 overall; 7-3 ATS
Overall: 67-33 overall; 53-47 ATS
