. vs. Iowa State. 815. player. . (7-1). Oklahoma Sooners. 5

Oklahoma is ranked ninth in the first set of College Football Playoff rankings, thanks in part to their lone loss to Kansas State two weeks ago. This Saturday night, the Sooners are 13 point favorites over the visiting Iowa State Cyclones

Oklahoma is looking to be a one loss team in the playoff conversation at the end of the regular season. The Sooners have overcome a regular season loss each of the last two years, won the Big 12 championship and went on to the playoff. A third straight playoff appearance is most certainly in play for the Sooners.

Oklahoma happens to be facing the same Iowa State team that knocked them off two years ago. The upset was a huge milestone in the coaching career of Matt Campbell. The Cyclones are 19-11 since that win over Oklahoma, posting back to back winning seasons the last two years for the first time since the 2004-05 seasons.

The Cyclones know they are toast in regards to a berth in Big 12 championship game if they lose this one. Both teams are coming off losses and an extra week to prepare for this one. Expect the best efforts from both sides and perhaps, even some Iowa State magic to pull off a stunner.
