(6-2). vs. Iowa. 809. Wisconsin Badgers. 4. player. .

Iowa travels to face Wisconsin Saturday afternoon in Madison. This looks to be a Big Ten West elimination game as the loser will have three conference losses. The Badgers are 9.5 point favorites over the Hawkeyes.

Wisconsin is looking to bounce back after back to back conference losses. Their loss at Illinois is still shocking and then they were pummeled in Columbus but what team hasn’t been this season. The Badgers had two weeks to shake off whatever plaques them and start righting the ship again. A spot in the Big Ten championship game is still a possibility so a lot still to play for.

Iowa’s offense is nothing special, however they have a solid defense. The rush defense will be the focal point in their attempt at stopping Badger running back Jonathan Taylor. The Buckeyes held Taylor to his lowest output of the season, 20 carries for 52 yards and no scores. The Hawkeyes are 8th in the country in rush defense, allowing opposing teams just 88 yards per game on the ground.

If the Hawkeyes can bottle up Taylor and force the game onto the arm of quarterback Jack Coan, they might have a chance. Coan has been shaky his last two outings so his confidence level is down. Look for Iowa’s defense to carry them if they are to get the upset in Madison.
