The first College Football Playoff rankings have been released this week. Which of the top Group of Five hopefuls will fall in Week 11?

The college football world has just become a bit more clear as we enter Week 11. The College Football rankings released earlier this week show six different Group of Five teams. Three of the top Group of Five teams are just arm’s length apart with Cincinnati, Memphis and Boise State coming in at Nos. 20, 21, and 22, respectively.

All three of the top teams are double-digit favorites this week while they play in front of their home crowds. Week 11 may not provide as much surprise to people, but the coming weeks certainly will be entertaining.

The American Conference finds themselves in a strange situation with their top teams facing off on Nov. 16 and possibly playing again in the conference championship. Memphis and Cincinnati hold down the top spots in the College Football rankings but could see their reign short-lived. The nightmare scenario of the American teams splitting this kind of matchup is a very real possibility.

Boise State comes into Week 11 as the top Group of Five team with one loss. Barely squeaking past San Jose State last week, the Broncos are on the ropes to prove they can compete for an NY6 bowl. College Football always has a funny way of sorting itself out, and 2019 will be no different in that regard.

Here are three teams that could find themselves in sticky situations in Week 11.
