3. Points at a premium

Alabama and LSU no doubt have two of the best offenses in the country. These two teams also tout two of the best quarterbacks in the country. With that being said, Saturday has a real SEC defensive showdown feel to it. The offenses might steal the pregame show, but both of these defenses should be ready to rock when it comes to game time.

Both teams allow just over 300 yards a game and have been lights out defending the passing game. Wherever you look on the field you can spot the first-round talent, especially in the secondary for both of these teams. We might have to put the Heisman talk on hold for a week as these two secondaries are going to be in the spotlight all game long.

Look for Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa to have more trouble in the passing game than they have in the recent past. Points will be at a premium throughout the game and the ball-hawking defenses will be in full effect. This feels like a mid 20’s type scoring game that comes down to the last drive.
