2. Running game will matter

It is very well documented how well each of the passing games for both LSU and Alabama has been able to move the ball. This Saturday could be quite the opposite with the running game taking over. Najee Harris from Alabama and Clyde Edwards-Helaire from LSU will play huge roles in their team’s push to victory.

Passing anywhere on the field is going to be a tough task as previously mentioned. Points will be at a premium, so the running games will be huge for the time of possession. The best defense in the SEC just so happens to be a good offense. The longer each team can keep the offenses of the opponent off the field the better.

LSU will try and knock the Crimson Tide out through the air late in the game, but they will have to keep themselves in it with their running game. Expect Edwards-Helaire to get 20-plus carries and play an integral role in spurring them to victory.
