1. LSU just recorded the biggest win of the year

These are the games you live for. Joe Burrow said as much in his postgame interview.

The LSU Tigers have waited for this moment for a long time. We’ll see what this means in the grand scheme of the SEC Championship and the College Football Playoff, but the Tigers have the win of the year right now.

The Tigers are living up to their names. This is their four victory against a ranked opponent this season. They’ve defeated Texas, Florida, Auburn and now Alabama. There is little question about how strong their schedule is.

With three winnable games left, there isn’t much stopping the Tigers from going to Atlanta and winning the SEC Championship then going on to the College Football Playoff. There may be questions about their defense, but Alabama is the best offense they’ll play unless they play Clemson in the playoff.
