Five Group of Five teams are now ranked inside of the top 25 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Who will be the next to fall?

College Football has taken a wild turn for the Group of Five teams. What started out as a normal year with Boise State and UCF hanging out at the top of the rankings, now has become a Memphis and Cincinnati race. Boise State still has a shot at the NY6 bowl as does multiple teams inside of the top 25, but none are in the driver’s seat like top-ranked Cincinnati at No. 17.

Week 12 comes with much intrigue for the Group of Five. Navy has to get past No. 16 Notre Dame to continue their great season while Memphis and Cincinnati have away games before they matchup on Nov. 29.

Cincinnati is currently in the top spot for the Group of Five at No. 17 in the polls. Ahead of No. 18 Memphis, No. 21 Boise State, No. 23 Navy and No. 25 Appalachian State. The Bearcats have bounced back after losing to Ohio State earlier in the year and have been able to rattle off seven straight wins. Cincinnati has used its phenomenally balanced offense to score 40-plus points in the last two games and look to do it again in South Florida.

The last quarter of the season always brings out the crazy in every conference. With the away games that we have slated for this Saturday, we could see some wild ones go down. Each of the ranked teams is favored by double digits in their games but do not necessarily hold a great edge. Will this be the week we see some chaos across the Group of Five?

Here are three teams that are on upset alert for Week 12.
