The Tigers have had a great year so far in 2019. The only loss for Memphis coming against Temple in a classic matchup that ended 30-28. Since the loss, the Tigers have won three straight and rose in the rankings surpassing Boise State as the second highest-ranked team in the Group of Five. After beating SMU at home with College GameDay in attendance, Memphis looked like a team that could really compete with anyone.

Memphis no doubt has been one of the best home teams in the nation going undefeated in 2019. Their real troubles come on the road, which may be no shock to anyone is where the Houston Cougars have shown some of their best work. Saturday afternoon will feature Houston hosting Memphis after Memphis has had one loss and another scare in their last two away games.

On the flip side, Houston is playing like they have nothing to lose at 3-6 and trying to claw their way into a bowl game for 2019. They have had a rocky season with multiple seniors red shirting taking advantage of the new rules to get another year in college.

This game will be in the hands of Clayton Tune who is the Sophomore quarterback from Texas who may have struggled last week but could bounce back. Look for the Tigers to have trouble with the Cougars if they get in a shootout.
