2. South Carolina at Texas A&M

While this SEC game doesn’t have any implications on the final standings in the conference, it is still a game worth keeping up with, especially for SEC fans. The Aggies are sitting at 6-3 and still have Georgia and LSU ahead of them. While it’s possible they could upset either Georgia or LSU, it is very unlikely and seems that South Carolina is their best chance at winning another game this season besides their bowl.

Despite the Aggies’ disappointing record, they have had one of the toughest schedules in the nation — if not the toughest. Of course every fan wants to win, but realistic fans would be OK with a seven-win season and a chance to build the program for next year. However, they have to beat the Gamecocks.

South Carolina is coming off a home loss to Appalachian State. While App State is a legit ball club who the bigger schools should take seriously, Gamecock nation won’t take that as an excuse for the loss. South Carolina sits at 4-6 for season as they have also had one of the toughest schedules in the nation.

However, losses against North Carolina and Appalachian State aren’t ones the Gamecocks anticipated. They need to win out to make a bowl game. The Aggies are favored by 10.5 points.
