Welcome to the watch. Here we try to find the worthy team from the realm of the Group of Five to represent in the New Year’s Six.

The watch has come to a stalemate. The men from the Americas are entrenched in a civil conflict. The Mustangs, Midshipmen, Bearcats, and Tigers all have much to sort out in the province of the American. The Men of the Mountains have announced their journey back to the watch after they defeated the Fighting Roosters of the Carolinas.

One will fall, and the Mountain Men are ready for their return. The American, however is impressive this season boasting three teams ranked in the College Football Playoff Top 25 and four teams ranked in the AP Top 25.

The Horsemen from the West Mountains stood firm despite the Cowboys’ attempts to tame them. The Maritime Warriors of the Navy continue to stand, but their road is difficult because of their loss to the Tigers. The Bearcats and the Tigers play to end the season and possibly again in the conference championship game.

Through these conflicts, a resolution will be found. Will “The One” come from the American or the Mountain West? Will a new champion arise from the dust?

Here is the New Year’s Six watch for Week 12.
