3. Indiana will be no stranger to the end zone

This might sound unreasonable since Indiana lost its frosh phenom Michael Penix Jr. following surgery to repair a broken clavicle. His replacement, junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey, is a more than adequate backup. He’s a veteran who knows the system, and the team believes in him. He’s started three games this season and was the starting quarterback last year.

As a starter last season, Ramsey threw for over 2,800 yards and 19 touchdowns.

The quarterback isn’t the sole reason the Hoosiers score points in this one. First, they boast an offense that averages over 30 points per game and they do it with balance. They have six receivers that have at least 20 receptions this season including running back Stevie Scott III who is as much a threat rushing as he is receiving.

The Hoosiers have the skill players to match up with Penn State’s defenders. Especially on the back end. Minnesota torched the Nittany Lions for almost 20 yards per completion.

If the Hoosiers can block Penn State — a tall order — they can get plays down field and put it in the end zone.
