Boise State football was able to run past New Mexico in Week 12. Huge question marks now have risen on the health of key spots on the squad.

Boise State football was able to secure a perfect regular-season home record at 6-0 as they moved to 9-1 overall on the season.

Third-string quarterback Jaylon Henderson got the nod against the Lobos on senior night in what could be his last game on the blue turf. Bryan Harsin has been quiet as usual on the injuries to both starting quarterback Hank Bachmeier and backup quarterback Chase Cord as they move to the last few remaining games.

Another loss that the Broncos suffered on Saturday night was star defensive end, Curtis Weaver. Weaver went down awkwardly on an attempted sack and never returned after leaving early in the second half. The Mountain West record holder for career sacks has been a huge part of the Broncos stellar season and would be a huge blow if he is unable to come back.

With the loss of Hank Bachmeier, Curtis Weaver and DeAndre Pierce the Broncos are now without their best quarterback, safety and defensive front players. The injuries are now starting to pile up for the Broncos and could play an even bigger role down the stretch. Even with the injuries playing a role in Saturday’s game against the Lobos, the Broncos were able to win 42-9.

As we look towards the most important part of the season for Boise State, what can we expect in their last few games? The Broncos are currently in the top spot in the Mountain division in the Mountain West and are fighting for home field in the conference championship.

Boise State has to play two games on the road against Colorado State and Utah State to round out their season. The game that has been circled on many calendars for most of the year has been the game in Logan, Utah against Utah State. We will see who will make the trip this week for the Broncos.

Here are three overreactions from Boise State’s win against New Mexico.
