Memphis is now ranked as the highest Group of Five team in all of the land. Coming in at No. 18 the Tigers have impressed the playoff committee so much that they have jumped Cincinnati.

This Tiger team will get their shot to prove what they can do against Cincy in just a couple of weeks, but first, they have to win on the road at USF.

This game is a sneaky good one for so many reasons. First off, the Bulls of USF are coming off a close one against Cincinnati where they gave the Bearcats a huge scare. They were playing with confidence and you could tell they want to get to bowl eligibility. The Bulls lost by just a field goal and had the Bearcats on the ropes the entire game at home.

Since Memphis and Cincinnati have very similar styles of play with their offenses having so many weapons on the outside, we could see a similar result. Memphis loves to air it out and they have four straight 40-plus games to show for it.

On the other side, the Bulls have not allowed more than 20 points in their last three games and Charlie Strong has this defense playing great. If USF can have another game like last week, this could be closer than we think.
