Penn State and Ohio State football will be linking up in the best game of Week 13. What could we see take place on Saturday afternoon in Columbus?

If you’re looking for the game of the week, that will take place at noon on Saturday in Columbus as No. 2 Ohio State gears up to host No. 8 Penn State in a battle that will not only decide the Big Ten East but also a playoff spot, more than likely.

The Buckeyes are looking to remain undefeated and head into the final week of the season with nothing to lose against red-hot rival Michigan. Obviously a win there would be important for bragging rights, but it’ll be so much better to play freely and with nothing on the line other than another win in the heated rivalry.

Penn State, on the other hand, would move into a first-place tie with Ohio State in the East with a victory and they would hold the tie-breaker as well. Making the playoff would also be a strong possibility if the Nittany Lions won their final game as well as the Big Ten title.

A lot is on the line here.

What will happen on Saturday afternoon in Columbus?

3. Each team will have a 100-yard rusher

JK Dobbins has been one of the most impressive running backs in college football this season and truthfully, he doesn’t get enough love. He’s 11 yards short of 1,300 on the season and has 13 touchdowns on 7.0 yards per carry. He has truly flourished with the keys to the backfield belonging to him and no split carries with Mike Weber.

However, he has yet to hit 100 yards in the month of November and that will change on Saturday as he’ll rush 14 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

On the other side of the field, replacing Miles Sanders who replaced Saquon Barkley has been a challenge, but the Nittany Lions look to have settled on sophomore Journey Brown who is averaging 6.1 yards per carry and has 521 yards and six touchdowns on the year. He has emerged recently with back-to-back 100-yard games.

Add a third to that as he’ll also break 100 yards and approach 650 on the season.
