1. LSU’s offense is terrifying

The score was 7-6 midway through the second quarter and it looked like Arkansas was going to make LSU sweat out a victory in Baton Rouge and then the offense happened.

Joe Burrow struck with his arm like he usually does and basically locked up the Heisman Trophy, at least in my opinion, with 327 yards and three touchdowns on an impressive 23-of-28 completions. He continues to look like the best quarterback in the country and his accuracy is borderline unbelievable. He has played himself into a top draft pick.

It’s easy to look like the best player in college football when you have elite receivers like JaMarr Chase and Justin Jefferson who seem to be virtually unguardable.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, as mentioned earlier, was lightning in a bottle for the Tigers, rushing just six times for 188 yards and three touchdowns and John Emery Jr. had two rushes for 42 yards and a score.

This defense can strike in a second and that’s what makes LSU so dangerous. The Tigers turned a 7-6 lead into a 28-6 lead in just five minutes and the game was over from there.
