2. John Rhys Plumlee rushes for 150 yards

With Ole Miss running somewhat of a two-quarterback system this season, John Rhys Plumlee has been a breakout performer, at least on the ground. While he’s not known for passing the ball with just 789 yards and four touchdowns on the year through the air, he leads the Rebels in rushing yardage.

The freshman dual-threat from Hattiesburg, Miss., knows what this rivalry means by growing up in the state, so he’s probably dreamed of having this type of moment.

With the lights shining the brightest, Plumlee is going to show off in his home state against the rival Bulldogs. Just like he did against LSU’s defense, the freshman quarterback will run wild and finish with at least 150 yards on Thursday evening.

In two straight games, Plumlee has rushed for over 150 yards and he’s broken 100 five times this season. He’ll add a third straight 150-yard game with a couple of touchdowns, making the Bulldogs’ defense work hard for stops. He’s going to make life very difficult for Mississippi State at Davis Wade.
