College Football Playoff 2019: Projected top 4 after Week 14

With less than one week to go until the final College Football Playoff rankings are announced, what are the projections after Week 14’s action?

On Sunday, the College Football Playoff committee will meet for the final time this season. In a room in Texas, the committee will decide the fate of four programs who will battle it out to be crowned the national champion. There will be one more sitting of the committee, and one more rankings announcement before that final decision.

What can we expect to see after college football’s Week 14?

Before we go into my projected College Football Playoff top four, let’s take a quick look at who we won’t see on Tuesday night.

After their defeat to Auburn on Saturday night, Alabama will be missing from the College Football Playoff for the first time since their creation in 2014.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have been the fairytale story of 2019. They were relying on a berth in the Big Ten Championship Game to make a run at the College Football Playoff. However, after their annihilation at the hands of Wisconsin, the Gophers are out of consideration.

That leaves seven teams still in contention.
