Big Ten Football Power Rankings, Week 15: Ohio State a playoff lock?
It’s over. Another season of suffering and blowout losses is finally over for Rutgers Scarlet Knights’ fans. Rutgers doubled their win total from last year but there’s still much to work on to move this teams comparison from that of a MAC or Sun Belt school.
2020 Prediction: 1-11 (0-9)
The Maryland Terrapins are probably happy this season is finally over. Entering the season, expectations were low but two weeks in, expectations shot up, having some think Maryland could place in the top three of the East. Since then, only one win and a season of disappointment. Is this just a small step back for the Terrapins? Or is this a preview of what is to come?
2020 Prediction: 4-8 (2-7)
The Northwestern Wildcats can finally exhale and put this terrible season in the past. Following up their 2018 season which saw the Wildcats win nine games and make the conference title game, Northwestern put together just three wins, winning their lone conference victory in their season finale over Illinois.
2020 Prediction: 6-6 (3-6)
The Nebraska Cornhuskers improved from year one of the Scott Frost era but not by much. Inconsistencies on both offense and defense give no clarity on which direction the program is going. In my opinion, the program won’t take a step back in 2020 but will finally show progress from the rebuild but will need to steal a couple four-star and five-star recruits to help that statement.
2020 Prediction: 7-5 (4-5)
