It’s Championship Week. The College Football Playoff and all the bowl games will be settled this weekend. Could some upsets be on the horizon?

Championship weekend brings the college football regular season to a close outside of Army-Navy next weekend. There are some great contests this week with six ranked versus ranked match-ups. An upset or two could throw the bowl projections and College Football Playoff into disarray and it’s why we all love the sport.

Last week we claimed one of three upsets. Auburn edged Alabama 48-45 in a heck of a wild game that ended with an illegal substitution penalty by Alabama and Auburn fans disappearing into hedges. Only in college football. Alabama finishes with multiple losses in the regular season for the first time since the 2010 season and will miss the playoff for the first time in its existence. Tough pill to swallow for Crimson Tide fans but most other fans are likely enjoying Alabama’s demise, at least for this season.

Will there be any upsets during championship weekend or will chalk hold? If all the favorites win, the playoff committee will have a tough choice to make on Sunday for the fourth spot. Odds say there will be at least be one upset in the Power 5 conference title games to throw a wrench into it. Here are three games we think the underdog has a shot. Point spreads for each game are provided by The Action Network.
