3. Win up front

Boise State has been great all year on the defensive front. They have been able to get to quarterbacks at will and stop the run as good as anybody in the Mountain West. Now, with newly minted defensive player of the year Curtis Weaver playing in possibly his last game on the blue turf, the Broncos should be able to crank it up a notch.

Hawaii runs a bunch of screen plays and quick draws that Boise State will have to stay disciplined on all night. With the play of the Boise State defensive line, we should see a lessened Hawaii attack in the passing game because of the time or lack there of in the pocket.

Look for Boise State to be in the backfield all night and rely on the secondary to hold things down over the top. Curtis Weaver will no doubt be fired up for this one and will make his presence felt. Make no mistake Boise State is loaded upfront and will have multiple guys in the thick of things stopping the run.
