LSU football and Georgia go toe to toe on Saturday for the SEC title. With major playoff implications, who will be able to hoist the trophy on Saturday?

LSU Football looks to remain undefeated on the season and cap a perfect 12-0 record off with a win on Saturday night before the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Georgia is on the outside looking in to the College Football Playoff but could find themselves in the thick of things with a win in the SEC Championship.

LSU is currently favored by seven points in the championship game. This goes to show how far Georgia has come since their loss against South Carolina early on in the season. They will have to get past the Heisman favorite Joe Burrow in order to punch a ticket into the playoff but still have their season hanging in the balance.

LSU has looked great all season going perfect in the regular season and having one of the best offenses in the country. Aided by senior quarterback Joe Burrow, the Tigers have displayed an offense that is scoring at a rate of 48 points a game. For an SEC offense that is known for its defense, the Tigers have had an extraordinary year on the offensive side moving the ball.

The Tigers will have one last task against Georgia on Saturday before they play in the College Football Playoff. Barring a catastrophic event in the game, LSU should have their ticket punched already to the playoff even with a loss. We should see a great game with two fired-up football programs playing for the SEC title.

Here are three bold predictions for Saturday’s contest.
