2. Joe Burrow must outplay Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts has done this song and dance before at Alabama. He has a championship under his belt already. Now, at Oklahoma, he’s looking to do the same thing. He hasn’t been the greatest quarterback in recent weeks, but he did enough to score a Big 12 Championship against Baylor and a nearly undefeated season, looking at you Kansas State.

On the other side sits Heisman Winner Joe Burrow. The senior that many thought that coming back would bring him a mediocre season and maybe a New Years Six berth if he was lucky. Now, he sits as the Heisman Winner and the quarterback of an undefeated LSU team with wins over Alabama, Georgia and Auburn.

The closest game they had was against a Texas team that at that point had high hopes and dreams.

For this one to swing in LSU’s favor, Joe Burrow has to outplay Jalen Hurts from start to finish. Kansas State did it. Can LSU?
