With only a day remaining, here’s what Notre Dame football will have to do to ensure a win over Iowa State in the 2019 Camping World Bowl.

Although a couple of the final scores are best kept far from memory, Notre Dame has drawn some very enticing matchups in the program’s last three bowl games. Having missed out on a 2016 bowl appearance, Notre Dame has matched up against the likes of Ohio State, LSU, and Clemson in those three contests.

Perhaps that’s why a matchup with a 7-5 Iowa State squad feels like more like a consolation than anything else. While a Camping World Bowl appearance seemed to be in the cards based upon Notre Dame’s late-season trajectory, the common consensus among many Irish fans was that a meeting with either Texas or Kansas State was preferred to one with Iowa State.

Nevertheless, the Cyclones will be the team standing in front of head coach Brian Kelly and his fifth bowl game victory this weekend. Here’s what his team will have to do to earn a victory in Orlando.
