Former five-star Lorenzo Lingard has entered his name in the transfer portal. Here are three possible landing spots for the former Miami football back.

Any time you are a five-star recruit you have no shortage of suitors. Even if it doesn’t pan out at your first school, there’s no shortage of suitors. Such is the case with five star running back Lorenzo Lingard.

The Orange City, Fla., native has decided to put his name in the transfer portal and potentially leave the University of Miami.

Despite being highly-touted coming out of high school, Lingard has played sparingly in his two years at Coral Gables. He rushed for 136 yards on 17 carries before his freshman year was cut short by a knee injury. This season he hasn’t carried the football and he and Manny Diaz agreed he’d take a redshirt this season.

As a recruit, Lingard was the No. 2 running back and the No. 25 player in the country.

According to Chris Boyle of the Daytona Beach News Journal, Lingard, wants to transfer because closer to his hometown due to his father’s health, but his recruitment is wide open. Coming out of high school Lingard had over 20 offers. Where will he end up?

Here are three possibilities.
