4. Six-touchdown game vs. Ole Miss

Undoubtedly the greatest quarterback in the history of Alabama football, Tua Tagovailoa set all kinds of records for the Crimson Tide in his three seasons on campus.

The most impressive broken record came in 2019 in Tuscaloosa against Ole Miss. At the time, the single-game touchdown record for Alabama was five. It was held by Gary Hollinsworth in a 1989 game also against Ole Miss. Tagovailoa had tied that record in 2018 against Auburn (more on that later) but was never given the opportunity to break it because he was taken out of the game.

Ole Miss once again faced the wrath of an Alabama school record in touchdowns when Tagovailoa threw for six touchdowns. Four of them came in the first half, while the other two split in the third and fourth quarters. What was even more outstanding was that five of them went to Devante Smith.

In his career against the Rebels, he threw eight touchdowns but barely played more than five or six quarters. While Tagovailoa holds a lot of Alabama passing records, this game against Ole Miss was outstanding and most likely his best performance in a Crimson Tide uniform.
