Sophomore quarterback Chase Brice has decided to leave Clemson football and enter the transfer portal. Here are three possible landing spots.

There are few backup college quarterbacks that are responsible for winning national titles. Chase Brice is one of them.

We all remember in 2018 when Trevor Lawrence got knocked out of the game against Syracuse. Brice came in and led the Tigers to a victory and ensured their national championship run.

The redshirt sophomore first sat behind Kelly Bryant and then behind Trevor Lawrence. With freshman four-star recruit Taisun Phommachanh already in South Carolina and five-star phenom D.J. Uiagalelei coming this spring, the writing was on the wall for Brice. If he wants playing time, he has to go elsewhere.

A three-star coming out of Grayson High School in  Loganville, Ga., Brice will have no shortage of suitors. He had nine offers coming out of high school.

Colleges who want to compete for championships need good quarterbacks and Brice is a good quarterback. He’s been part of the best program in the country for the last three years and he knows how to win.

Where will Brice end up? Here are three possible landing spots for the quarterback.
