If this name sounds familiar, it’s because Zachary Evans was committed to Georgia not too long ago as the No. 1 running back in the 2020 class.

The five-star running back recently re-opened his recruitment and that has cracked the door for programs like Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Florida to take a crack at him. He was off the board not long ago, but now that he’s back on the market, he’s the hottest running back commodity out there.

The Houston, Texas, native is ranked the No. 14 player in the class as well as the best player from the loaded Lone Star State, per 247Sports.

The recent trend for Evans has been toward Ole Miss although Texas A&M is a serious contender here. The Rebels just offered him and he took a visit to Oxford this weekend which makes him a serious target for Lane Kiffin and arguably the top guy left on his board.
