If you’re familiar with this recruitment, you’d understand that Malachi Wideman probably isn’t going to end up at Florida State, and even recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong has admitted that.

What else has Wiltfong said about Wideman?

This is exciting news for Tennessee because, well, the Volunteers could use more weapons on offense and Wideman is an elite target. He stands 6-foot-4, just like Demarcus Beckwith, but he’s more polished even though he’s lighter at just 180 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 116 player in the class as well as the No. 22 receiver in the class, per 247Sports.

Wideman likely won’t end up at Florida State and the most likely suitors are Tennessee and Oregon and he’s fresh off a visit to Eugene which should make things interesting with signing day coming up.

This would be a massive flip for Jeremy Pruitt by National Signing Day and a major momentum-booster for the program.
