Texas A&M’s defensive line has been a pleasant surprise over the past couple of seasons under Jimbo Fisher and he’s looking to add another elite piece to the puzzle.

The Aggies currently have four-star defensive end Fadil Diggs and three-star tackle Isaiah Raikes enrolled early as well as four-star end Donell Harris and three-star tackle Dallas Walker signed in the 2020 class. Just because there are four guys committed, signed and some enrolled already doesn’t mean that Jimbo is content. He wants more.

That’s where McKinnley Jackson comes into play.

Jackson is the No. 61 recruit in the class as well as the ninth-best defensive tackle and No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi, according to 247Sports. Texas A&M looks to be one of the leaders in his recruitment along with Alabama but the Aggies will also have to fend off Auburn and LSU.

Luckily for the Aggies, they will be getting the final visit for the four-star tackle on Jan. 31 and that could greatly impact his decision.
