There are always those interesting recruitments that don’t lead one way or another and have everyone on the edge of their seats on signing day and that’s exactly what Jordon Ingram has going for him ahead of Wednesday.

The three-star athlete is one of the most versatile recruits in the class and can play anything from offense to defense but might be best suited at linebacker. He has a 6-1, 195-pound frame and could even be a running back as most of his highlight reel suggests. Whatever the bigger need is moving forward, Ingram can fit that.

Ingram is also being recruited by Arkansas, Auburn and LSU but he’s fresh off an official visit to Morgantown and Neal Brown seems to be close to a commitment here.

West Virginia could use more athletes like Ingram and he will give the Mountaineers’ 2020 class a major boost.

Ingram is ranked the No. 561 overall prospect as well as the 28th-best prospect in the class, according to 247Sports.
