I know what everyone is saying and yes, I understand that the Razorbacks landed Feleipe Franks from the transfer portal and have KJ Jefferson on the roster, but adding Malik Hornsby to the quarterback room definitely makes things interesting.

No, I’m not saying he’s going to come in and win the job right away like a Jayden Daniels-type, but Hornsby will be in the quarterback conversation until fall. He may win the job after months of battling over the summer and he might not, but no matter what happens, he makes the quarterback position stronger.

Franks is no longer a lock to be named QB1 after transferring in and Jefferson isn’t the clear second-stringer. Both will have to fend off the four-star signee who picked the Razorbacks on National Signing Day over Baylor.

Hornsby is listed as the No. 200 player in the class according to the composite, but 247Sports has him even higher as the No. 98 recruit.

This kid is going to be a star in Fayetteville and I have a feeling his career as a starter might get started under center soon rather than later.
