Just like Demond Demas, Muhsin Muhammad III is an elite receiver from the 2020 class but unlike the five-star receiver from Texas, the Charlotte-native is enrolled early. That alone could give Muhammad a leg up in the competition at wide receiver to help replace the depth in the corps for the upcoming season.

For a guy who may not be the highest-rated in Texas A&M’s class, there should be some serious excitement surrounding Muhammad’s future in College Station.

Why? Because he comes from great bloodlines. His father is a former Pro Bowl receiver in the NFL and had over 11,000 yards receiving at that level after graduating from Michigan State. If he’s anything like his father, he’s going to be an All-SEC talent.

Muhammad may not have that type of impact from day one, but he’s the No. 158 overall prospect in the class as well as the 28th-best receiver, according to 247Sports, and he has plenty of talent.

If Texas A&M wants to trust a young receiver early on, the 6-foot-0, 185-pound wide out from North Carolina could be ready in Week 1 after learning the playbook all spring as an early enrollee. He could be a special player for the Aggies.
