USC’s receiving corps were exciting last season and that had a lot to do with the play of Michael Pittman Jr., Amon-Ra St. Brown and Tyler Vaughns. Luckily for the Trojans, the latter two return after combining for nearly 2,000 yards last season.

Kedon Slovis did a great job getting the ball to all three guys and both St. Brown and Vaughns should be the beneficiaries of an already-established relationship.

After those two, Drake London returns after a solid freshman season and a guy like Bru McCoy should have an impact on the receiving corps, but you can’t count out an incoming freshman like Josh Jackson, a three-star from Harbor City, Calif.

The borderline four-star prospect was ranked No. 432 overall in the class and as the No. 79 receiver, per 247Sports, and is enrolled early, giving him a leg up on the competition.

USC is losing its top receiver and has few proven options outside of Vaughns and St. Brown, so that’s what makes Jackson so intriguing.
