7. at Penn State Nittany Lions (Oct. 24)

The game of the year in the Big Ten in recent years, Ohio State will face their toughest game of the season in Happy Valley. With the game more than likely to be played at night and to be Penn State’s annual white out game, there may not be a better atmosphere in all of college football.

Despite that, the Buckeyes have not been phased by Beaver Stadium in recent years, winning three out of their last four on the road in this series. A team waiting to explode in the conference, this game will more than likely determine who represents the East in the Big Ten Championship Game.

The OSU-PSU series has turned into a mini rivalry game and has become famous for its close battles. The 2020 matchup should be no different.

Prediction: Ohio State wins (7-0, 4-0)

8. Nebraska Cornhuskers (Oct. 31)

A game that was hyped up in the 2019 season ended in a dominant victory for Ohio State. There will no doubt be hype surrounding the Cornhuskers’ visit to Columbus, but not much will be expected for the road team. Playing for the fifth year in a row, the Buckeyes have won 39 or more points in four of those games, with the worst of it coming in 2016 when Urban Meyer dismantled Mike Riley at The Shoe, 62-3.

While it may not get as bad at that in 2020, Ohio State should still be expected a comfortable win against Nebraska, especially at home.

Prediction: Ohio State wins (8-0, 5-0)

9. Indiana Hoosiers (Nov. 7)

One of the surprise teams in the Big Ten last season, Indiana had their first eight-win year since 1993 when they went 8-3 in the regular season. Even in that season, the Hoosiers still lost to Ohio State, as the Buckeyes have won 25 games in a row. It has been since 1988 since Indiana won in the series and since 1987 since they won in Columbus.

Dominating last year’s game 51-10 in Bloomington is still very far off from the elite in the conference. Both their quarterback, leading rusher, and leading receiver are expected back, but it would take the game of their lives to find a way to beat the Buckeyes in Columbus.

Prediction: Ohio State wins (9-0, 6-0)
