The backfield is a major question mark heading into the 2020 season. Leading rusher Darius Anderson is gone after rushing for 823 yards and six touchdowns on 5.5 yards per carry and third-leading rusher Sewo Olonilua is also graduating following a 537-yard season.

Quarterback Max Duggan was second on the team in rushing, so that means the Horned Frogs’ top two running backs are gone, opening up a major hole in the backfield.

Although Dominic Richardson isn’t an early enrollee and a three-star rated running back from Oklahoma, he’s going to get a chance to compete right away. Once he gets on campus this summer, he’s going to be looked at to contribute from day one.

Richardson has solid size at 6-foot-0 and 205 pounds and he’s ranked the No. 682 overall prospect and 49th-best running back in the 2020 class. He’s also one of the top 10 recruits from the state of Oklahoma.

TCU should be able to utilize Richardson right away.
