3. Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma

Neville Gallimore is a prospect that has been impressive since the first day of the 2020 Senior Bowl week. In a draft where Auburn’s Derrick Brown is dominating the boards, players like him need to put up some great performances in drills and competition to separate himself.

Gallimore measured in at 6-foot-2, 304 pounds as one of the biggest defensive players in the 2020 NFL Draft. He ran his 40-yard dash time at 4.79 seconds. He and Khalil Davis from Nebraska both ran their 40-yard dash times at 4.79 and 4.75, respectively, at over 300 pounds. This is the fastest 40-yard dash time for NFL draft prospect in the NFL Combine weighing over 300 pounds since 2006.

The Oklahoma star did not measure in more at other drills outside of the bench press, where he accounted for 23 reps. He displayed excellent attributes that can make him a one-technique defensive tackle and a three-technique tackle. His greatest qualities displayed in the position drills are his explosive get offs, speed and push.

The Senior Bowl is where he showed his versatility as stout run-stopper and a great pass rusher from the interior. The NFL Combine is where he confirmed his efficiency and productivity. Gallimore’s draft stock rose as high as the late first round with the result of the combine.
