1. Will another good offseason yield some actual on-field results?

Nobody had a more eventful or fun offseason than Miami coach Manny Diaz did in 2019. From all of the various off-field stuff, tweeting, getting quality transfers and making the whole offseason about “TNM” (The New Miami), Diaz looked to have the Hurricanes back to winning games last season.

Unfortunately for Diaz, last season was an absolute disaster and it looked more like the Miami that college football has grown accustomed to over the years underachieving.

Miami has gotten quality transfers in D’Eriq King, Temple defensive end Quincy Roche and FIU kicker Andres Borregales, overhauled the offense with a more spread attack that has been long overdue and once again has a very manageable schedule that avoids Clemson in the regular season.

Nine or 10 wins should not be out of the question given the talent on this team and a schedule that appears to be very light. Only time will tell whether or not this will yield wins for the Canes.
