ACC football had a down season in 2019, could 2020 be a bounce-back season for the conference? Here are three storylines to keep an eye on this spring.

The much maligned Atlantic Coast Conference is looking to have a bit of a bounce-back year in 2020.

Despite Clemson being one of the most dominant programs in the entire country, ACC football has earned the reputation of being one of the weakest in the Power Five and quite frankly, the public opinion is not wrong on this one.

This is a conference that lacked depth and had a bunch of mediocre teams last season. That makes for great chaos in the coastal division, but hurts the perception of the conference.

Nevertheless, the ACC does not lack intriguing storylines heading into spring football in 2020.

Can North Carolina take another leap forward in Mack Brown’s second season since returning to Chapel Hill? How will Mike Norvell fare in his first season in Tallahassee? Can Miami finally play up to its talent level and be a more consistent football team? Could anybody possibly challenge Clemson and end the Tigers’ streak of five straight ACC championships?

All are very intriguing and newsworthy, but I am going to dive into what I believe to be the three biggest storylines heading into this spring for the ACC.
