These are the most intriguing ACC football teams to watch for the 2020 season. Can any of these teams challenge the Clemson Tigers for the title?

One of the beautiful things about Clemson dominating ACC football for the last five years is that every offseason, we all get to speculate about who is ready to step up to the plate and challenge them and Syracuse aside, that has not happened hardly at all in the last three years.

That doesn’t mean that there aren’t intriguing teams and storylines outside of Death Valley, however. I actually think you can make the case that there are more than three teams to keep an eye on.

You have a couple of second-year coaches in Mack Brown and Scott Satterfield, at North Carolina and Louisville respectfully, who overachieved last season and are looking to make that second year leap and possibly challenge Clemson for the division title.

Florida State is hitting the reset button again and hoping that Mike Norvell can bring back a winning atmosphere to Tallahassee. Miami is hoping to move past its disaster season from a year ago. Syracuse is hoping that it can find their winning ways from two years ago and have a bounce-back season under Dino Babers and Co.

All these teams will be worth keeping an eye on but I’m going to identify the three teams that I think everyone should be watching for in the ACC in 2020.
