Oklahoma State hits the road again for the third time in four games and fourth in six, facing a tough Baylor team in Waco. Even though Matt Rhule is gone, the Bears shouldn’t see much of a drop-off, if at all, especially with the defensive-minded Dave Aranda taking over.

The Bears’ defense should be solid and they return Charlie Brewer at quarterback, but the fact that he lost his top receiver in Denzel Mims will hurt.

This is another toss-up game and one Oklahoma State must win if it wants to remain in the Big 12 title race. Unfortunately, it’ll be another tough loss.

Final Score: Oklahoma State 21, Baylor 28 (7-2, 4-2)

Are the Cowboys officially out of the Big 12 title race? Not exactly. Sure, they’ll need some help from some underdogs to take down the likes of Texas and Baylor, but Oklahoma State still has a chance to go 7-2 in conference play and earn another matchup with the Sooners.

Beating West Virginia on Nov. 14 is something that needs to be done if this team wants any chance of a rematch with Oklahoma.

Neal Brown is doing a fantastic job with the Mountaineers and I have them making a bowl game but they won’t be able to complete a late comeback in this one after falling behind big.

Final Score: West Virginia 24, Oklahoma State 31 (8-2, 5-2)
