Miami football has several holes to fill before the 2020 season and some questions along the roster. Here are some 2020 depth chart projections.

While the Hurricanes only got one week of spring practice in before the ACC canceled the rest of the sports this spring, some front runners were starting to emerge at some positions of need.

I feel like Hurricanes fans have been saying forever that the two most important positions heading into this season will be the offensive line and the quarterback position, although I think that the “QB battle” is all but wrapped up at this point.

How the Hurricanes replace four-year starters Shaq Quarterman and Michael Pinckney at linebacker will be key going into this season, as will replacing the reliable KJ Osborne and the explosive Jeff Thomas at receiver, as well as Deejay Dallas at running back.

The Hurricanes dipped into the transfer portal yet again this offseason to try and add some quality starters at some positions of need, adding Temple defensive end Quincy Roche, who is the top returning pass rusher in all of college football and pairing him with stud defensive end Gregory Rousseau, FIU kicker Andres Borregales will take over what was one of the worst kicking units in the country last season, and of course, Houston transfer D’Eriq King, who is looking to be the playmaker at quarterback that Miami so sorely needs.

Here are my projections for what the depth chart will look like heading into 2020 fall camp for Miami football.
