The sports world has come to a screeching halt, but that won’t stop our 2020 NFL Draft projections from changing. Will Tua stay in the top five?

The sports world has come to screeching halt with the COVID-19 outbreak causing leagues to suspend, cancel or postpone their seasons. Considering it is the offseason for the NFL, the public health crisis hasn’t affected the league as of yet.

However, the NFL did have to cancel its annual meeting and the draft events in Las Vegas have been canceled. The player selection process will proceed as planned on April 23-25 and will be televised.

In honor of the upcoming draft, I take a stab at my first mock.

Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed on March 26 the draft will indeed take place as scheduled.

There are over 300 potential draft prospects this year and the SEC leads all conferences with the most top prospects at over 100, according to drafttek.com. The Big Ten has the second-largest representation in the draft with 90 prospects, the Pac-12 has 69 in the draft field. To round out the power five conferences, the ACC has 59 most likely draftees and the Big-12 has 45 top prospects.

Depending on which analysts you follow, the expected overall first pick in the 2020 Draft is either Heisman winner Joe Burrow from Louisiana State or Chase Young from Ohio State.

Without further ado, here is my 2020 NFL mock draft.
