The New Orleans Saints ended their 2019 regular season 13-3, losing to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, then not again until they played the Atlanta Falcons in the first matchup between the two teams, and the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Saints in Week 13.  The Saints were eventually beaten by the Vikings in the NFC Wild Card round.

New Orleans needs to draft interior an interior offensive lineman and Jedrick Wills Jr. would be the perfect fit.

Wills Jr. spent three years with Alabama, declaring for the NFL Draft following his junior year. He appeared in 11 games in his freshman year, including one start, and started all 15 games his sophomore year. And in 2019, he started 13 games and was dominant in the right tackle spot.

Wills is shorter than average tackle which could allow him to transition to the interior, but he has plenty of speed and agility and plays with great poise. These strengths will be a massive contribution to the Saints’ offensive line and he should provide great protection to Drew Brees.
