Ross Blacklock. Pick Analysis. Ross Blacklock. DT. TCU. 26. player. 59

The Miami Dolphins get their third pick of the 2020 NFL Draft courtesy of the Houston Texans.

Ross Blacklock redshirted his first season on campus, and in 2017 as a redshirt freshman, he started in all 14 games. He was sidelined his junior year due to an offseason injury, and in his senior year, he started all 12 games.

Blacklock has recorded 67 total career tackles (39 solo and 28 assists) in addition to 5.5 sacks. He is extremely athletic and agile in short spaces and he has the rush instincts of a defensive end. As a pass-rusher, he is never in one place for long, and he is impossible for only one player to mirror him.

These strengths will be a strong addition to the Dolphins’ defensive line.
