58. Chase Young. DE. Ohio State. 2. player. Pick Analysis. Chase Young

The Washington Redskins finished the 2019 season with a 3-13 record, only defeating the Miami Dolphins, who were also winless at the time, Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers. Washington is in need of offensive line, pass-catcher and defensive playmaker prospects.

Chase Young spent three years at Ohio State University and opted to declare for the draft after his junior year. He posted 98 total tackles in his career with 68 of them being solo and 30 assists. He also recorded eight pass deflections and nine forced fumbles and as mentioned earlier scored the highest grade of the draft prospects.

Young will bring power and size to play through the blocker’s edge, including a long lateral stride and the flexibility to bend and should provide massive improvements to the Redskins’ defense.
