Another SEC team undergoing changes this offseason was Missouri and the Tigers are also under new leadership with Eli Drinkwitz taking over. Also, Kelly Bryant is gone and the offense will likely take a step back with plenty of question marks.

While Drinkwitz is a bright young mind and one of the quickest risers in the coaching world, he has a daunting task at hand and his first season won’t come with a ton of ups.

Mississippi State gets back on track here.

Final Score: Missouri 17, Mississippi State 27 (5-4, 2-4)

After getting back on track with a win that ended a four-game losing streak that lasted the entire month of October, Mississippi State will hit the road once again, traveling to Lexington to face a Kentucky team that was able to retain some top-tier assistant coaches this offseason.

The Wildcats will also have a good quarterback situation with Joey Gatewood transferring in and Terry Wilson returning healthy.

Mark Stoops has done a fantastic job with this program and they could already be bowl eligible at this point, but another win for the Wildcats is incoming.

Final Score: Mississippi State 24, Kentucky 27 (5-5, 2-5)
