Kicking off the season with a neutral site battle against a team from the SEC in a transition period, Baylor will get an early chance to make some noise and prove that they’re not going to lay down under the spotlight.

Dave Aranda will be in his first game as head coach with an opportunity to take down a familiar foe and the fact that he’s no stranger to facing Ole Miss will help him here.

Baylor takes care of business thanks to a solid game from Charlie Brewer.

Final Score: Ole Miss 20, Baylor 31 (1-0)

Conference action comes early in the season for Baylor as Week 2 will feature a battle between Kansas and the Bears.

While Les Miles will surely have Kansas going bowling soon, that may not happen in 2020 and don’t expect any wild upsets here in Waco. The Bears will take care of a program that’s still trying to figure things out to give Aranda is first Big 12 victory as head coach.

Final Score: Kansas 16, Baylor 38 (2-0, 1-0 Big 12)
