NFL Draft 2020: Complete first-round mock, post-free agency
Signing Tom Brady has given the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a new form of identity and hope for the franchise. Head coach Bruce Arians knew that Jameis Winston was not the answer for the franchise when he took over and last season was the proof. Winston was not fully the problem, but he put the Buccaneers in a tougher situation than getting them out.
Now that a new quarterback is ready for the Buccaneers, they will focus on their other primary positions. The Bucs gave up 47 sacks last season, which is 11th most in the league.
A tackle like Thomas is highly efficient in pass protection and run blocking. He will be playing in a Tampa Bay offense that will be much similar to the offense he played for at Georgia. His high football IQ will fit in great with the schemes that Arians and Brady like to do.
